Per Credit Minimum Salary for Academic Year 2023-2024:

C – Lecture – $1,272.00 per credit

D – Recitation: Discussion/Seminar – $1,272.00 per credit

E – Laboratory/Career and Technical – $1,387.00 per credit

F1 – Laboratory: Academic – $1,531.00 per credit

F2 – Laboratory: Academic – $1,734.00 per credit

G – Physical Education/Recreation Courses – $1,531.00 per credit

H – Studio: Art – $1,531.00 per credit

J – Studio: Music – $1,628.00 per credit

L2 – Clinical or Internship Instructor On-Site – $1,531.00 per credit

L3 – Clinical or Internship Rad Tech – $2,985.00 per credit

L4 – Clinical or Internship Nursing - $3,119.00 - $3,464.00 per credit based on employee’s highest applicable degree

M2 – Clinical or Internship Instructor On-Site - $1,531.00 per credit

M3 – Clinical or Internship Nursing and/or Nurse Aide (Health/Nurse Aide) - $2,079.00 - $2,309.00 per credit, based on employee’s highest applicable degree

In certain instances, due to low enrollment, instructors payment will be based on part-time per credit pay and pro-rated on a 10% per student basis.

Part-time employees also receive some benefits depending on the number of hours worked.

Job Duties:
1. Provide effective and high quality instruction in economics courses.
2. Evaluate students’ course work, provide feedback to foster greater student learning, and report grades in a timely manner.
3. Revise economics courses to maintain current in pedagogy, content, and the high standards of the College.
4. Design educational methodologies and adopt learning-centered teaching practices to enhance student learning.
5. Communicate clearly defined student learning outcomes, provide an array of learning activities that are tied to and assess those outcomes, and participate in formative and summative assessments of student learning in economics courses.

6. Analyze and utilize assessment data to improve instruction and learning.

7. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and participate in professional development activities to further develop and maintain instructional excellence in your field of expertise.
8. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
9. Demonstrate a willingness to work as a team member toward the fulfillment of the College’s Mission Statement, Purpose, Vision and commitment to Diversity.

Work Hours: Teach day and/or evening classes at Greeley campus or satellite campuses in Loveland and Fort Lupton.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.

1. College level experience teaching Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics.
2. A Master of Arts in Economics, or a directly related field such as Masters in Business Administration, with 18-graduate credits in Economics from a regionally accredited institution.
3. Evidence of teaching excellence.
