Part-time Job Announcement

Position: Part-time Evening Custodian

Location: Walton Campus

Department: Facilities

Reports to:  Maintenance Supervisor & Executive Director of Facilities

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Sweep and/or vacuum all rooms.
  • Spot lean carpets.
  • Clean corridors.
  • Clean and service restrooms.
  • Remove all trash from buildings.
  • Empty outside trashcans.
  • Clean windows, window frames, entrances.
  • Clean all janitorial, mechanical, and storage rooms.
  • Lock the buildings and setting alarms when required.
  • Replace lamps in offices, classrooms, hallways, and restrooms as required.
  • Complete assigned work requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in higher education custodial services.
