Purdue University Northwest is seeking a Part Time Educational Advisor to join our Educational Talent Search program. Educational Talent Search is a federally funded TRIO program that provides academic, career and financial counseling to Lake, LaPorte, Porter and Starke County residents, encouraging participants to graduate from high school and continue on to complete your post-secondary education. The Educational Advisor plays a critical role with identifying, recruiting, and providing designated services to middle and high school students in target schools in order to provide them with the tools needed to pursue a post-secondary education. This role will work directly with the Director and ETS staff to ensure that the goals and objectives of the Educational Talent Search (“ETS”) project are met. Will also provide support in- and out-of-classroom of ETS participants in an effort to enhance their development and learning experiences and help with the coordination and implementation of program relative to the ETS project.
