The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Development Assistant, Corps of Cadets on the Dahlonega campus. This part-time, non-benefitted position is responsible to the Commandant of Cadets for increasing stewardship of Corps of Cadet donors.  Individual assists with cadet scholarship award process and recognition ceremonies.  Primary focus is to ensure donor and recipient correspondence to increase support for cadet scholarships. Individual will work less than 20 hours per week. Be available to work some weekends.

  • Donor relations/stewardship of donors.
  • Assisting with the cadet scholarship award process.
  • Donor and recipient correspondence.
  • Assist with event planning (scholarship award ceremonies, scholarship luncheons).
  • Administrative support for the Director of Development for the Corps of Cadets.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. 
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Customer service experience required.
