JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Great Valley’s Conference Services team is searching for a part-time audio-visual technician to support corporate conferences and campus events. This is part-time opening.

Penn State Great Valley’s Conference Services team works with local, regional, and national business and organizations to coordinate, host, and support customized events in an academic environment. We offer meeting space for academic and corporate meetings, trainings, and multi-room conferences.


Job Duties

  • Assist with audio visual setup and operate a various audio-visual systems and devices including but not limited to sound systems, projection systems, hybrid meeting equipment, microphones, television monitors, lighting, and streaming software.


Requirements and Qualifications

  • Preferred experience includes: some knowledge of a/v presentation and streaming software, video recording, videoconferencing, and other AV hardware and AV equipment troubleshooting experience.
  • Professional and thoughtful interpersonal skills are required.
  • The ability to work with project leaders and execute tasks under pressure is essential.
  • The successful candidate must be available to work flexible hours.
