Minimum Hourly Rate:

$33.89

Job Description:

Job Duties:

Provide oversight and instruction for CPAT orientations, practice sessions, and final exams.

1. Responsible for the overall conduct and safety of skill evaluation areas
2. Ensure the integrity and reliability of the examination
3. Maintain strict security of all examination-related items throughout the examination
4. Ensure that equipment used for the exam is in operable condition
5. Use CPAT skill sheets developed by the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) to evaluate the students
6. Assist the exam coordinator with the set up and tear down of the skill testing stations
7. Adhere to college and IAFF policies and licensing requirements to evaluate the candidates

Minimum Qualifications:

1. One year’s firefighting experience or Peer Fitness Trainer certification
