Part-time Job Announcement

Position: Part-time Anatomy & Physiology Open Lab Assistant

Location: Athens Campus

Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety

Reports to: Divisional Academic Dean

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Deadline to Apply: February 13, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities: The successful applicant will assist the lead instructors by setting up and taking down labs, ordering and maintaining lab supplies, repairing models, keeping labs clean and orderly, and supervising students in the completion of laboratory activities.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Completed associate level courses in BIOL2113/2113L and BIOL2114/2114L (or equivalent from a community or tech college) with grades of A.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The ability to use the audiovisual technology within the laboratory or classroom.
  • The candidate must be available to work a minimum of three (3) consecutive semesters.
