Part-time Job Announcement

Position: Part-Time Adult Education Receptionist

Location: Athens Campus

Department: Adult Education

Reports to: Executive Director of Adult Education & Walton County Campus

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Deadline to Apply: March 28, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet internal and external customers in person or on the telephone.
  • Operate a multi-line telephone console and two-way radio system in order to relay incoming and outgoing calls.
  • Provide information or direct calls/visits to appropriate office or individual.
  • Operate office machines and computers for the purpose of filing, copying, entering data, maintaining logs, etc.
  • Receive visitors, accept telephone calls, and provide appropriate information and assistance to faculty and staff members, students, visitors, and callers.
  • Assist with coordination of special events on campus, i.e. graduation activities and registration activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working within Adult Education
