JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, is seeking an individual for temporary part-time (24 hours a week) administrative support. 

Primary duties include but are not limited to entering reports for goods and services purchase card transactions, web requisition requests and contract intakes, and processing invoice payments.

This position will assist the Office Team by answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information and referring as appropriate, distributing mail to department labs, and acting on routine requests. 

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, strong organizational skills, and excellent attention to details a must.

Preference will be given to qualified applicants with experience with Sap Concur, SIMBA, and Infor Systems.

The following clearances must be successfully completed for this position:

  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check  
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check
