Part Time/Adjunct Faculty with Expertise in the areas of: Medical-Surgical, Pediatrics, Maternal/Child, Population Health, Psychiatric Mental Health, Critical Care, Nursing Informatics, and Leadership

 

The School of Nursing at UT Health San Antonio invites MSN and/or doctoral prepared nurses to apply for part time/adjunct faculty positions in the undergraduate and/or graduate programs. Qualified applicants with clinical experiences in Medical-Surgical, Pediatrics, Maternal/Child, Population Health, Psychiatric Mental Health, Critical Care and/or Leadership may apply for an academic faculty role with the School of Nursing. Appointments in each specialty content area will be dependent on current teaching needs of the school.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

          Supporting the teaching mission of the School of Nursing.

          Engaging in clinical practice.

          All other duties as assigned by the Dean.

Minimum Qualifications:

          Master’s degree in Nursing; doctoral degree is preferred.

          Current Texas RN Licensure.

          Recent clinical experience is strongly preferred.

          Excellent organizational, communication, teaching and clinical decision-making skills.
