Position Summary

Performs public relation duties and activities related to the enforcement of the College’s Parking and Fleet regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides parking information and general directions to students, employees and visitors.
  • Interacts with a diverse number of people using excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Enforces parking regulations, which includes citation issuance, traffic control and public relations.
  • Checks vehicles for parking violations; monitors permit use; maintains related data; and coordinates towing and booting vehicles as appropriate.
  • Audits, collects monies, data and repairs of meters.
  • Participates in special events parking; and assists in traffic and crowd control.
  • May assist in transporting department vehicles for routine maintenance.
  • May assist with vehicle reservations, vehicle inspections, and vehicle work orders.
  • Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
  • Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, OSHA standards, and wear personal protective gear if required.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or GED, and one (1) year of customer service or related experience.

  • This position requires a valid unrestricted Driver's License


Preferences:

  • Experience in Higher Education Settings: Familiarity with the unique environment of a college or university campus.

  • Bilingual Abilities: Ability to speak multiple languages, particularly those commonly spoken in the campus community.
