Description
We are conducting visitor use monitoring for the U.S. Forest Service National Visitor Use Monitoring (NVUM) Program in National Forests of USFS Region 6 over the current and upcoming fiscal years (presently-October 2022). Any current students/recent graduates who are interested in conducting such work, the surveys will take place in the Mt. Hood and CRG areas from now until October 2021, and then we will shift to the south and west and cover the Umpqua, Willamette, Rogue River-Siskiyou, and Siuslaw National Forests until October 2022. This is a great opportunity for students to get paid field experience in outdoor visitor monitoring and recreation research.
