position is available in the Brain Function and Recovery Lab (

Lab) at the University at Buffalo under the supervision of

. The successful candidate will be involved in cutting-edge research projects aimed at identifying the cognitive and motor effects of traumatic brain injury using various methodologies including for fMRI and

in both children and survivors of intimate partner violence. The successful candidate will also use neuromodulation in patients with traumatic brain injury. The

lab is equipped with state of the art posturography machine and neuromodulation apparatus.

This position will:

• Maintain, troubleshoot and properly use laboratory equipment including computer systems and data acquisition devices
• Recruit and schedule study subjects
• Follow research protocols such as obtaining informed consent and administering clinical assessments
• Prepare subjects for posturography and neuroimaging analyses
• Data collection both in lab using lab equipment and in real-world settings
• Documentation and data management
• Analysis of behavioral and neuroimaging data using software such as MatLab, R, Labview, SPSS, and Microsoft Excel
