Description
Immediate opening for a research assistant to help sample crayfish and habitat in streams and reservoirs of the Ozark Highlands in Oklahoma. Crayfish sampling has already began and will continue into October. Crayfish processing and other lab work would be available if interested and would occur following field work. Field work will be conducted in Oklahoma whereas lab work would be completed at Auburn University. Camping and extensive stays at field stations will be required.
Qualifications
Minimum- BS degree with an interest in streams. Previous experience sampling streams or identifying crayfish are preferred but not required if the candidate is eager to learn.
