Job Summary: | The Outreach Specialist role is a unique opportunity to help promote the Early Childhood Health Consultation program to early care and education providers and network professionals. This position will be responsible for developing multi-channel communication campaigns, introducing the program at conference exhibit booths, organizing webinar records to support the program offering continuing education credit for attendees, support the facilitation of programmatic meetings, and leading expansion communication efforts to the program's expansion service locations. |

Responsibilities: | Delivers and assists with planning outreach program activities, strengthens partnerships, ensures adherence to policy, and assists with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. May assist with tracking and managing the outreach program budget.

Qualifications: | For candidates who hold a Bachelors degree only it is preferred that they possess 3 or more years of experience in aligned fields of study including communications, marketing, public health, or early childhood. |

Additional Information: | The Early Childhood Health Consultation program is in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Family and Children, housed at the UW-Madison School of Human Ecology, and funded by the Preschool Development Grant. The goal of the program is to support early childhood care and education providers by offering a reliable place to ask their health-related questions and ultimately promote best practices for the health and safety of the children across Wisconsin. The Early Childhood Health Consultation program offers ongoing guidance statewide through our on-demand resource library, monthly webinars, and a fun informative podcast. Additionally, tailored health consultation services are available to early childhood care & education locations across Wisconsin. Through strong collaboration, the Early Childhood Health Consultation aims to provide an environment where an individual can feel fulfilled and be their best self. |
