Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide medical nutrition therapy of outpatients in a specialized area like endocrinology, diabetes, general pediatrics, organ transplant, pediatric organ transplant, intestinal transplant, and more. Includes assessment, documentation, implementation, monitoring, education, and reassessment of the care plan. You will communicate with and work as a team member, interacting with nurses, physicians, office staff, patients, family members, clinic office staff, dietitians, and other health care team members. Additionally, you will participate in departmental activities, including performance improvement and committees.
