Depending on skills, certifications and experience of the selected candidate, this position will be hired at the Occupational Therapist II or III level.

Responsible for outpatient occupational therapy patient service delivery, including evaluation and treatment of routine and complex neurological patients, complete required documentation and communicates patient information across the continuum of care. Participates in training and program development and represents the department to the medical and general community. This position will be require to float between locations and settings based on access and volume demands.

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy approved by the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association, eligibility for registration by the National Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association.

  • Occupational Therapist (OT) - issued by the state of California.

  • BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT2) OR six plus years experience with advanced certifications (OT3).

  • Four (4+) or more years of relevant experience to include neuro experience.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • May flex and float between sites as needed.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $103,774 - $136,952 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $49.70 - $65.59

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
