About the Position: 

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is committed in educating students to be culturally, globally, socially, historically and environmentally astute, civically responsible alumni able to navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world. We are seeking an exceptional individual who is organized, detail-oriented and has excellent communication skills to join our team as the Oral and Public History Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt) at the Center for Oral and Public History (COPH). The Oral and Public History Analyst (Administrative Analyst/Specialist-Non-Exempt) will support the Center for Oral and Public History (COPH) for faculty, staff, and visitors. Oversees and provides direction to support staff with day-to-day clerical operations. Plans and executes COPH's events and fundraisers, including assisting with commencement. Under the direction of the Director of CODH, serves as the primary contact for the Center’s budget and financial records. Maintains financial records, orders supplies and equipment.  Processes check requests and purchase orders. Under the direction of the Director, provides estimates for oral history projects and collect payments for services that the COPH provides. Supports the processing of invoices, makes deposits, reconciles procurement cards, and processes travel request and reimbursements for faculty and staff. Maintains and strategizes the COPH's website and social media presence, which includes selecting projects and narrators to highlight. Edits and posts COPH's monthly podcast. Completes editing and auditing, checking transcribed interviews, indexing, annotating bibliographies, and writing summaries of Interviews. Using a common software program like Microsoft Publisher or Adobe lnDesign, provides the layout and coordinates the Information for the COPH' s biennial report. Under direction, serves as the backup for binding services. Assists patrons with accessing archival materials and checking out recording equipment. Provides archival and research assistance. Provides support to the director and other key personnel, such as processing for hiring student assistants and reviewing timesheets. Serves as the primary Department IT Coordinator (DITC). Other duties are as assigned.
