Job Description:

The Department of Chemistry is seeking a part-time OPS Researcher. This position will work at the interface of chemistry and environmental science, studying nutrient recycling and nutrient release for high-efficiency fertilizers. Suitable for an advanced undergraduate or bachelor’s degree with chemistry, environmental science, or engineering training.

Laboratory activities include setup and data collection of nutrient release studies along with quantitative and physical analysis of samples using advanced spectroscopic and microscopy techniques. 

Data collection, data archiving, and reporting are expected.

Expected Salary:

The hourly rate is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. 

Minimum Requirements:

Undergraduate with some technical training.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced undergraduate or BS or MS degree.

Should be available to start between April 1 and May 13
