FOR USE BY IT AND HSIS ONLY: The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a OPERATIONS ANALYST II - ENT To monitor and control computer systems through operation of the central console and on-line terminals. To operate auxiliary equipment directly associated with computer systems. To maintain records regarding input, output, system checks, supplies and repair orders for equipment. To assist in manipulating controls to rearrange the sequence of job steps to continue operations when problems or special circumstances arise. This position will commit to fostering an environment of heightened security following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training, such as Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.

(Hourly Rate:  $18.85 - $30.65)

 

Qualifications

 

High School diploma or GED and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement. None required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Computer Operations in a BMC Control M environment
  • Batch operations in Financial or Higher Ed environment
