Open Rank Nursing Faculty Position (Oncology)

 

The School of Nursing at UT Health San Antonio invites nurses to apply for a full-time tenure track, research track tenured positions at Assistant/Associate/Professor rank. Required applicants must have completed a doctoral degree focused on oncology research. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

 

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

·     Conducting discovery and knowledge generating research

·     Submitting applications for external funding of research

·     Supporting the research and teaching mission of the School of Nursing

·     Potential clinical practice opportunities.
 

Qualifications - The successful candidate will have:

·     A research doctorate in nursing or a related field.

·     RN Licensure preferred

·     Evidence of a strong program of research and scholarship.

The School of Nursing is one of six schools at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UT Health San Antonio), the only academic health science center in South Texas and the chief catalyst for San Antonio’s thriving $42.2 billion healthcare and biosciences industry.
