Position Description Summary:
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates Inc., an independent, non-profit clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, is seeking to recruit a Division Director for the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This non-tenure-track appointment will be made at a rank of (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor) and salary commensurate with experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide excellent patient care to hospitalized patients and clinical care as well as consultations for outpatients; teach residents and medical students; maintain an active research portfolio. MFM specialists work 5 to 7 half-day sessions in the clinical area and have three half-days to perform surgery, complete administrative responsibilities, and conduct scholarly work. In addition, MFM specialists take daytime, weekend, and night calls, including labor and delivery call. 
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology; on schedule for board certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM); and licensed in the District of Columbia and Maryland at the time of appointment. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and have leadership experience.
Advertised Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
