This position is fiscal year based and works year-round.

The intended work commitment or full-time equivalent (FTE) for this position is 1.0 and considered full-time.

Assistant Professor - Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements. The salary is subject to availability of funds.

Associate Professor - Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements. The salary is subject to availability of funds.

Professor - Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements. The salary is subject to availability of funds.

The Georgia Cancer Center (GCC) is part of the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, located in Augusta, a picturesque riverside city situated along the Georgia/South Carolina border. The GCC is a part of the Medical College of Georgia (MCG), which was founded in 1828. We are on a mission to ensure every cancer patient has access to the newest and most innovative clinical trials in the nation. Our world-class physicians work closely with scientists to ensure every cancer patient receives personalized treatment through the interaction of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and allied health professionals. GCC is the national leader in outreach and engagement of underserved populations.

The Cancer Center supports a vibrant research environment by providing investigators with easy access to cutting-edge technologies as shared resources. The Cancer Center provides a collaborative environment that supports basic science that is making breakthroughs in cancer research, leading to the identification of new therapies. The selected candidate will have laboratory space in the state-of-the-art Georgia Cancer Center M. Bert Storey Research Building which is designed to provide research space to promote multidisciplinary collaborations and translational research.
