The Division of Nephrology at the University of Virginia is seeking a full time Nephrologist to join our renal team in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is an open rank, tenure ineligible, position with rank status determined by the candidate’s qualifications. The incumbent will be responsible for providing renal care to patients on the inpatient and outpatient general Nephrology. The candidate will actively participate in the in-patient teaching program with Nephrology fellows, medical house staff and medical students. 

Our kidney care is nationally recognized by U.S. News & World Report, which rated our kidney failure services “high-performing,” their highest rating.

Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be sub-specialty board-certified or board-eligible in Nephrology by appointment start date, possess outstanding clinical, technical and interpersonal skills, and training from top-rated institutions.
