HAI Postdoctoral Fellowship with Professor Roxana Daneshjou, Department of Biomedical Data Science
This position will involve studying how physicians interact with AI decision support systems, simulating real world settings and looking at fairness and generalizability. In particular, a background in computer vision and human-AI interaction is best suited for this role and project. Postdocs will have the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of computer scientists, data scientists, and physicians.
Mentorship Structure
Meet 1:1 weekly for 30 minutes to an hour, and weekly group meetings as well as ad hoc journal clubs.
Stanford HAI is also committed to creating a diverse community of scholars who are engaged in contributing to the understanding and advancement of Human-Centered AI. Postdoctoral fellows will have the opportunity to engage with one another and with the broader Stanford HAI research community. They are also expected to participate in professional development, cohort-building, and other programmatic activities organized by HAI.

  • Presentation to the Daneshjou lab and 1:1 interview


Timeline
