Summary of Position
Applicants are invited to apply for a full-time professional faculty position in the Center for Educator Preparation to begin in Spring 2024. The College of Professional Studies’ Online Center for Educator Preparation prepares educators who are highly qualified and committed to maximizing learning across all ages and demographic groups, birth – Grade 12. The ideal candidate will hold a New Hampshire Experienced Educator Certification and at least 5 years teaching experience in one of the following disciplines: Early Childhood Education, Special Education (K-12), Elementary Education, Middle or High school level Mathematics or Reading and Writing. This faculty Coordinator of Clinical Experiences will possess strong, collaborative decision-making skills and experience working in higher education. He or she will provide content area expertise, program direction, curriculum development, and field placement faculty oversight for clinical aspects of Educator Preparation programs and will work as a liaison with cooperating schools and districts. Actual teaching load will vary with other responsibilities but will not exceed four courses per fiscal year. This is a 12-month, full-time, non-tenure-track appointment.

Acceptable Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Education Required
  • NH Experienced Educator Certification and at least 5 years teaching experience in an aligned discipline

  • Preference will be given to candidates who exhibit excellence in K-12 and higher education teaching, online curriculum development, and program management.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Desire to work as part of a team in the department and within the division
  • Candidates must be committed to mission and values of the UNH College of Professional Studies.
