| Essential Job Duties | The Online and Distance Education (ODE) Program Specialist supports the ODE Administrative Services team and reports to the Director of Online and Distance Education. ODE provides leadership and operational support for NC State’s online and distance education programs, partnering with academic units and campus teams to support program operations, student and faculty services, compliance, and effective program delivery. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support across admissions and enrollment, student and faculty services, systems and records, communications, website administration, and daily program operations. You will apply university, state, and distance education policies, resolve issues, maintain accurate information, and collaborate with campus partners to deliver responsive, consistent service. Program Administration and Admissions Support As part of the team, you will support admissions and enrollment processes while ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant program operations.
Systems, Data and Operational Support You will help maintain reliable systems, accurate records, and efficient day-to-day operations that support online and distance education.
Communication and Marketing You will have the opportunity to support clear, accurate communications and contribute to marketing and recruitment efforts that promote ODE programs and services.
