Responsibilities are basic and routine in nature.  This may include performing administrative duties in an office, aid faculty/staff in supporting programs or clientele customer service. Duties will be clear and direct.  The Student Assistant will require excellent customer service and strong organizational skills and will represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values. 

State 4-H Office Student Assistants provide customer service (in person / telephone / email / online) in support of clientele and cooperatively with members of the Ohio 4-H state staff. Individuals will answer phone calls, prepare mailings, make copies, do filing and perform other office support as needed. Students assist with preparation and coordination of activities at special 4-H events, assist with evaluations, data entry and run reports, assist with updating websites and online research.

This position is located in Columbus, Ohio at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center and hours are flexible. This position can work up to 28 hours if taking classes and up to 38 hours during the summer and/or academic breaks.
