Job Title: Office Support Generalist (Part-time)

Reporting Relationship: Systems Coordinator, Division of Nursing, School of Integrated Health

Unit: National & Global

Department: School of Integrated Health (SIH)

Campus Location: Ott Hall of Sciences & Nursing

Summary of Position:    This generalist position comprises a wide range of general knowledge and performs multiple tasks within various nursing programs. Varying responsibilities will include but are not limited to processing non-medical and medical clearance, onboarding, and Program Residency assistance within the nursing division.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist specialist staff with verification requirements of student health documents and certifications in CastleBranch and Medatrax for clinical placement compliance for these nursing programs, including RN-BSN, MSN (NRE, HSL, APRN), and BDNP/DPMH
  • Vaccinations
  • Health clearance
  • Background checks
  • Drug screens
  • CPR certification 
  • Assist specialist staff with verification of documentation of onboarding requirements as specified by facility contracts for nursing programs, including RN-BSN, MSN (NRE, HSL, APRN), and BDNP/DPMH
  • Gathering and entering information for the onboarding process in third-party vendors such as myClinicalExchange, CB Bridges, and Acemapp, which requires student information, location, preceptor, dates of rotation, and approval of the student’s medical records. • Completing student verification forms to validate immunization records for onboarding
  • Attending training for Medatrax, myClinicalExchange, CB Bridges, and Acemapp
  • Verifying student RN licenses through Nursys.com
  • Coordinating APRN student ID pictures for onsite clinical rotations
  • Tracking registration changes to update Medatrax and documenting when APRN students need to renew their physical exam, drug screen, and background check 
  • Other duties as assigned by the Division of Nursing, School of Integrated Health

Education

  • Associate Degree, preferred

Experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and IWU computer systems/willing to learn IWU computer systems
