The Opportunity:

The UCF Registrar’s Office seeks an Office Support Assistant to join their team. This position is responsible for handling the grade forgiveness process including data entry, validation checking and performing as the point of contact for all grade forgiveness inquiries. The incumbent will assist with supporting the classroom scheduling process and special event room reservations.

Responsibilities:

  • Processes updates to the course catalog and class schedule in PeopleSoft.

  • Responsible for verifying student information and data entry during the grade forgiveness process.

  • Responsible for communicating grade forgiveness policies to students and other UCF personnel.

  • Serves as key point of communication for student inquiries and requests for assistance with the grade forgiveness process.

  • Assists with special event scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 0+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of higher education, Florida Division of Education, UCF and Registrar's Office policies and procedures.

  • Ability to interpret rules, regulations, policies & procedures.

  • Experience in sound decision making and problem assessment.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and demonstrate high attention to detail.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft or other student information system.

  • Familiarity with classroom scheduling.

  • Experience with Astra Schedule or similar room scheduling systems.
