Job Description
University Registrar Services is seeking versatile and detail-oriented individuals to join the Course Catalog and Curriculum Maintenance team on the Tempe campus as an Office Specialist Sr. Office Specialist Seniors perform a variety of administrative work of a specialized nature that it is critical to the success of the University’s curriculum operations. The work requires a strong attention to detail, ability to analyze complex material, confidence in decision-making, and ability to meet established deadlines. This position has an opportunity to collaborate across many departments within the University as the individual works to support the implementation of curricular requests.

Essential Duties
- Update, evaluate, and retrieve information in a student information system (e.g., PeopleSoft) especially for non-routine and complex cases.
- Provide general information and convey university curricular policies and procedures to faculty, staff and students by e-mail through Salesforce case management.
- Act as liaison with provost, departments and colleges in matters pertaining to curriculum.
- Create documents, correspondence and reports.
- Coordinate and participate in special projects and committees.
- Cross-train team members in diverse activities to assist with variable peak processing demands.
- Apply functional knowledge to analyze and respond to matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of department policies and procedures.
- Research and interpret a variety of levels of information and authorize exceptions to policy within defined limits.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems and provide assistance to others.
- Update affected policy/procedure manuals.
Minimum Qualifications
Five (5) years of increasingly responsible office/clerical experience, which includes one (1) year in a directly related function; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of University policies and procedures.
- Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in retrieving and updating information in a student information system (e.g., PeopleSoft)
- Experience in analyzing and organization of data with attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in resolving complex issues and researching non-routine inquiries received by students, faculty, and staff; University departments and advising units.
- Experience with CRM systems, (i.e., Salesforce).
- Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with faculty, staff, student, community partners and other stakeholders.

- Frequent/constant sitting on a chair at desk or work area
- Navigate a driving and high-paced environment, all while providing thorough support to the University community
