Job Summary | This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time, Office Specialist 2 position for Oregon State University’s Portland Center. The Office Specialist 2 will be based in Oregon State University’s Portland Center in the heart of downtown Portland. This position will have the exciting opportunity of being part of a fast-paced and growing facility at the OSU’s Portland Center. This position shares oversight of the main reception, the center’s main phone line and email, and office duties with a team of student employees and other operations staff. It will work directly with Porland’s Community, Conference Services, and Social Media Manager to support social media and marketing content. It supports meetings and events at the OSU Portland facility in collaboration with other operations and event staff and a team of student workers. This position will keep things running smoothly by setting rooms, receiving catering, staffing, and supporting events, etcetera while serving as a welcoming, helpful presence to our students, staff, faculty, community partners and guests. A high level of organizational skill will be necessary to ensure the success of operations at the OSU Portland facility. The position will report to the Portland Operations Director. |

What We Require | Two years of general clerical experience. One year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR An Associate’s degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology; OR Graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in Office Occupations or Office Technology and one year of general clerical experience. College courses in Office Occupations or Office Technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. |
