Job Description

To supervise an office support unit; hire, train and evaluate support staff; plan, coordinate, and oversee the day-to-day operations; perform a wide variety of secretarial and/or office administration support functions; perform related work.

The Office Services Supervisor will provide oversight of several critical support tasks for the Office of Academic Advising (OAA) and ensure smooth and efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will responsible for the following:

  • Management of the OAA front office staff, peer advisors, and all front desk operations.
  • Demonstrate and maintain top-level customer service for front line student assistance. Coordinate the promotion of all OAA events.
  • Manage office purchases and reconciliation.
  • Manage logistics with all OAA position searches Support the Executive Director with meeting scheduling, logistics, and note-taking.
  • Management of OAA monthly contact data and reports.
  • Management of Student Satisfaction survey data and reports.
  • Manage logistics associated with all office travel.
  • Assist the ISU Navigate Administrator with the management with the advisor assignment process in Banner.
  • Utilize office technology to schedule appointments for academic advisors.
  • Management of EPAF’s and other employee records. Management of OAA records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

ISU minimum for this classification is $17.67/hour.
