Job Summary
This position is in the Registrar Service Center and involves in-person customer service, routing and directing calls to correct university offices, answering questions about record maintenance and enrollment, and other office work as assigned.

$14/hour
Preferred Qualifications
-Office experience, excellent communication skills, familiarity with CISCO phone systems.
- Students with federal work study are preferred.
Work Hours
Our office is open from 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Student employees are part-time and will be scheduled to work during office hours through summer and the regular academic year. Our office is open during university breaks. It will be expected that student employees are available over summer and breaks when university offices are open. Our office is closed during Administrative closure days (major holidays and over parts of winter break).

Illinois State University, as your employer, is required by federal law to ensure proper tax withholding from wages and to ensure that the required reporting of employee wages, withholding, and employment taxes is accurate. Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
International students are restricted by their visa status to no more than 20 hours per week of on-campus employment when the university is in session but may work more when the university is not in session. International students should contact the Office of International Studies and Programs for guidance if they have questions concerning employment restrictions.
