Job Summary/Basic Function

This Graduate Assistant will support functions of the Office of Sponsored Programs clerical and administrative support in grant development, and development of monthly and annual written communications designed to highlight faculty and staff grant-funded projects.

Specific Responsibilities
Work Schedule
 Work schedule will be determined by student availability and office needs between office hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Graduate assistant will work 20 hours per week.

Job Duties


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Write, review, edit and perform other duties related to highlighting and promoting grant-funded projects at ISU
  • Perform tabulation of monthly grant activity in preparation of communication development.
  • Assist in grant search activities for faculty and staff.
  • Support office projects, reports, and other matters in support of sponsored programs and research.
  • Writing, editing, proofreading, office support, website support, form development, and representing the office as needed.
  • Handling all other duties as assigned by office staff.
