Job Summary:
The Office Manager is responsible for streamlining administrative procedures and processes. This position is to be the principal provider of administrative support to the Assistant Dean of Human Resources and Staff Engagement. He/she will be responsible for managing the Assistant Dean?s calendar, meetings, and drafting internal and external correspondence. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of administrative duties, including but not limited to ordering supplies, paying invoices, answering and screening calls, greeting visitors, and serving as the first point for contact for the Adams School of Dentistry?s Human Resources office. The Office Manager must be an energetic professional who is experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. This position will support the Human Resources office and will serve as the main point of contact for the office?s visitors.  
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency and three years of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or Associate's degree in secretarial science, business administration, or a related discipline and one year of progressively responsible administrative/office management experience; or Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
