Description of Work

As the Office Associate, you will:

  • Provide dynamic support for our faculty, staff, and students.
  • Interact with individuals within the building who need assistance.
  • Work with graduate students from all over the world.
  • Provide administrative support in various areas.
  • Work with new graduate students as they come on campus.
  • Be responsible for correspondence with potential and future graduate students; student applicant file evaluation and tracking; maintenance of graduate program database and website; and coordination of new student welcome.
  • Schedule committee meetings; reserve conference rooms; send out permission codes; prepare welcome packets for new graduate students; and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus four (4) years of administrative support experience required. Additional relevant education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience with word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary.
