The University of San Francisco School of Law is seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and a committed work ethic to assist in enhancing the productivity, efficiency and responsiveness of the Law School Admissions Office. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the JD recruiting and admissions process at the School of Law and will have key responsibility for recruitment and yielding programs. This individual will serve as a critical point of contact for applicants, prospects, and pre-law advisors, and will also provide secondary support for application processing and data entry.Full Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
Assist with design, implementation, and tracking of a communication plan with prospective, admitted, and deposited students.
Maintain pre-law advisor and pre-law organization databases, implements the communication plan with the Sr. Director and Asst. Director and serves as a point of contact for pre-law advisors and groups.
Lead or secondarily plan all admissions events.
Maintain the admissions recruitment calendar in both internal and external capacities.
Manage recruitment event registration and follow up.
Maintain statistical information for admissions recruitment, yield events and surveys, and provide regular reports and analysis to supervisors.
Maintain and update Admissions Office social media accounts, including, but not limited to Twitter and Facebook.
Provide administrative support to the Senior Director and Assistant Director of the Admissions Office in the JD application and admissions process, including tracking of correspondence and development of mail merges, LSAC JD Credential Assembly Reports, letters of recommendation, and transcripts.
Input, edit and maintain data for the JD application.
Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person requests for admissions information and application materials.
Accommodate requests for phone and Zoom admission counseling appointments.
Provide campus tours to prospective students and admitted applicants.
Represent School of Law at recruitment events as needed.
Supervise student workers in the absence of the Senior Director and Assistant Director.
Provide support for tuition deposits and payments as needed.
Assist Assistant Dean, Senior Director and Assistant Director with special projects or other responsibilities as directed.

Understanding and commitment to USF’s mission, vision, and values.
Post high school education preferred. Training or experience equivalent to five years of increasingly responsible work experience in a senior support role or related education. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience with responsibilities in file maintenance, data entry and maintenance and analysis of statistical data preferably in an admissions office or professional school environment.
Applicant must have experience in usage of social media in a professional setting. Experience with communication and marketing plan design and implementation is required. Applicant must have extensive experience with event planning and support.

Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and other software programs) is required. Familiarity with Unite and SLATE Admissions Database software is a definite plus. Must be able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute. A test for typing, accuracy, basic grammar and spelling may be required. Must be able to lift on occasion up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
The position reports to the Senior Director of Admissions in a 37.5 hour per week position in a professional academic office. The hours are 8:30 – 5:00 PM with the possibility of overtime as approved by the Director. The Admissions Office consists of an Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management and a Senior Director, Assistant Director and an additional Office Assistant VI position.
