Position Summary

The College of Population Health seeks a student Office Assistant to join to support the administrative team with day-to-day office duties, special projects and general program administration. The successful candidate will perform a range of routine office activities such as data entry, note taking, maintaining calendars, managing email accounts. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers telephones, routes calls, takes messages, and provides general information to visitors and staff.
  • Establishes, maintains, processes, and/or updates files, records, and/or other documents.
  • Prepare and/or edit correspondence for the administrative team.
  • Schedule or assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and/or conferences.
  • Copies and/or duplicates materials as requested; may oversee day-to-day operation of copy machine.
  • Order, stock, and distribute office supplies.
  • Run various routine errands, as required, for the unit/department.
  • Assists with planning and programming for departmental events and other projects.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
