Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
The Department of Physics seeks 2 hourly student workers to provide office assistance. Duties for this position include:
  • Sort and deliver mail to CNMS faculty and staff.
  • Receive and deliver water throughout PSC and Toll building.
  • Help shop keepers with project work (sweeping, sorting and disposing outdated files etc).
  • Provide additional back up on loading dock.
  • Other duties as assigned.

These positions will be for 12-15 hours/week and preference will be given to individuals that can work days a week for 4 hour shifts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read, spell accurately, and write legibly; to communicate effectively; to operate manual and automated office equipment and keyboards; to file documents according to alphabetic and numeric sequences; to understand and follow oral and written instructions; to communicate effectively; to maintain effective work relationships; to perform arithmetic computations.
