JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Department of Internal Medicine at the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA is seeking an Education Program Coordinator who will assist with the daily logistics of supporting ECHO Sessions for Penn State Project ECHO.  This position will support the delivery of all ECHO sessions; which includes communicating with participants before, during, and after each program, monitoring enrollments and tracking session attendance, submitting CME reports, assisting with session material preparations including didactics, agendas, and lectures, monitoring data collection and supporting the operations of each session.  

 

More specifically, this position will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of educational cohorts and topic areas. This position requires a strong attention to detail. In addition, this position requires a high level of customer service in order to offer frontline troubleshooting and technical assistance to Project ECHO participants.  

 

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint) and Zoom is required; experience with REDCap is desirable. In addition, the candidate should communicate clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and participate in, and support, team decisions and team responsibilities. 

 

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or higher

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

This is a limited-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding. 

This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. 

 

The following clearances must be successfully completed for this position: 

  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check 
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History- 
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check  

This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
