Obstetrics & Gynecology - Minimally Invasive Gynecology Clinical Faculty

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, one of the nation’s premier healthcare institutions, is seeking a full-time Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery physician to work in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Division (MIGS). 

The OB/GYN Department has 25 faculty members and over 140 private attendings across all Gynecological and Obstetrical specialties.  The OB/GYN Department has five divisions (MFM, Gynecologic Oncology, Reproduction, Endocrinology and Infertility, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Family Planning) and has an accredited residency program with 7 residents per year and four fellowship programs.  There are approximately 6500 deliveries per year at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a large proportion of which are high risk pregnancies. The MIGS Division has three internationally renowned faculty members. The MIGS faculty member will collaborate with other faculty and private attendings to help maintain academic standards of excellence and carry out the program’s vision.

The candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology with completion of a MIGS fellowship and be able to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid, non-restrictive California Medical License. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to clinical excellence and teaching. Faculty appointments are through the Cedars-Sinai Professorial Series.  Finally, the candidate must be passionate about their work and be an excellent and engaged educator.

Primary responsibilities for this position include providing high quality laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery and other minimally invasive procedures for patients with common gynecologic disorders. The physician will teach medical students, residents, fellows, and staff physicians in the areas of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery through active clinical and surgical collaboration. The physician will be responsible for improving the efficiency of operating facilities by establishing clinical pathways and evidence-based approaches to the treatment of gynecologic conditions and be engaged in scholarly research and simulation.  While participation in research activities is not a primary expectation for this role collaborative research is available. Performing other administrative duties as required.

Our compensation philosophy

We offer competitive total compensation that includes pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees.  The total pay range shown above takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors.  This total pay range includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. We also offer a comprehensive faculty benefits package.

Pay Range: $350,260 - $540,094 Total Cash Compensation
