OBGYN Generalist - MED: OBSTETRICS & GYNECOLOGY (ASC PHYSCN)
Job Summary
Employee will have the majority of time commitment in direct patient care at the site, to which he/she is assigned to provide general obstetrics and gynecology medical care and documentation of same for patients. Clinical responsibilities include in-patient and out-patient care and surgery, daytime laborist on labor and delivery in rotation with other members of UWH, obstetric in-house night call and at home gynecology call in rotation with the combined division of Gynecologic Specialties division and UWH.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Must be licensed in the state of California.
  • Abilities/competencies required include functioning in a professional manner with regards to patients, families, colleagues, to maintain compliance with all medical staff policies and to be an effective communicator with a broad range of people.

Our team of geriatric, hospice and palliative care experts provide interdisciplinary team-based care to improve the health and well being for frail, multicomplex older adults across care settings.

  • Work is performed at UC Davis Health, Campus, and other offsite locations.
  • This position is a critical position and subject to a background check and drug screen. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background investigation including criminal history, identity checks and drug screen.
