JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Nursing Simulation Laboratory Coordinator 

 

The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing undergraduate program at Penn State Altoona invites applications for a full-time Simulation Laboratory Coordinator. 

 

Job Duties 

·       Coordinate operational activities in the nursing simulation laboratory

·       Assist faculty in planning simulation experiences.

·       Provide students with guidance and instruction during laboratory activities under the supervision of faculty.

·       Program and operate patient simulators and cameras during simulation laboratory experiences.  

·       Prepare (set up/take down) simulation equipment. 

·       Provide technical assistance and support to faculty, instructors and staff who teach in the simulation laboratory.  

·       Coordinate equipment, supplies and labware purchases, ordering, inventory, maintenance, repair and storage.

 

Requirements and Qualifications 

·       Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. 

·       Recent clinical experience preferred. 

·       Employment with the University will require the successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.

The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$51,000.00 - $74,000.00
