Job Description |
Clinical Faculty Duties include:

Special Assignments | May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. |
KSA's/Required Qualifications | Minimum requirement: Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or BSN with extensive nursing experience with a written plan demonstrating ongoing progression in obtaining a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Occupational experience as a Registered Nurse in a health care setting. Hold an unencumbered license as a registered nurse or a multistate licensure privilege to practice nursing in Virginia. Effective oral and written communication and Excellent computer skills. Knowledge of current nursing education issues and trends. Ability to use computer and classroom technology. |
Additional Considerations | Classroom teaching experience at the Registered Nurse level; supervision of students in clinical training. Experience inspiring and facilitating learning with diverse student populations |
