Nurse Practitoner -Stroke Team

  JOB DUTIES
  

This role will be on the inpatient APP team working with the Neurology team to address the needs of stroke patients and patients who are experiencing acute neurological changes throughout the hospital. Salary range : $84.82- 121.13/hourly

  JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  

* CA RN and CA NP License- required * State of California NP, State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, National Certification (i.e. ANCC)-required * MSN or DNP in NP Specialty (AG-AC NP/Adult – Gero Acute Care NP) * NPI #, DEA #, * Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES * 1 year neurology experience as a NP- required * BLS and ACLS certification from AHA or ARC * Previous Stroke Team experience – strongly preferred * NIHSS Certification – required, SCRN – preferred * Ability to utilize excel, word and other software program-required * Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required * Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required * Ability to set prioritiies-required * Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required * Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner- required
