Registered Nurse (RN) plus national certification in area of specialty, ambulatory care nursing, or care coordination and transition management within 2 years

Job Summary
The Bone Marrow Transplant Coordinator position provides critical services to patients and physicians in the Hematology, BMT and Cellular Therapy Program.
Position duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling procedures for pre-transplant patients, monitoring and coordinating of conditioning regimens, retrieving analysis results for physicians and teaching patients and families about the transplant process.
The Coordinator will submit formal requests for transplants, verify patient insurance benefits, pre-certify treatments, schedule appointments and referrals for pre-transplant patients.

Preferred Education/Experience
BSN with Oncology experience Hematology Oncology preferred.
