The Department of Radiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine invites junior, mid-career, and senior-level (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) nuclear radiologists to apply for a full-time faculty position in the Department.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician-scientist to develop and champion a cyclotron-based clinical and research program. The position will have dedicated research and administrative time, with a portfolio of responsibilities that includes clinical and educational duties in the Department of Radiology. The ideal candidate will have experience with cyclotron oversight. The candidate will be expected to manage cyclotron clinical and scientific interactions, for example with oncology, cardiology, and the neurosciences in a vibrant academic community.  Partnerships exist with the University of Cincinnati, UC Health Barrett Cancer Center, UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Vontz Center for Molecular Studies, and industry within a collegial environment to advance basic and clinical research utilizing PET radiopharmaceuticals.

Essential Functions

Duties will include responsibilities for the clinical, research and teaching activities for our students, residents and fellows. 


Minimum Requirements

The qualified candidate should possess an M.D., D.O., M.D.-PhD., or foreign equivalent and be board certified/eligible by the ABR in Diagnostic Radiology with Certification of Additional Qualification in Nuclear Radiology, or equivalent. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and current abdominal imaging fellows are encouraged to apply.


Additional Qualifications Considered

Fellowship training is needed and subspecialty certification in abdominal imaging is desirable. Ideal candidates will be competent to cover all aspects of body imaging.
