Occupational Summary
The intern will work 20 hours a week for 10 weeks as part of the four-member team that plans and creates content and to build the audience for Faith & Leadership , the online magazine of Leadership Education at Duke Divinity. The intern will have the opportunity to write, to edit and to conduct interviews, and will participate in all aspects of our editorial process, from developing ideas to final publication.
Work Performed
Faith & Leadership is the online magazine of Leadership Education at Duke Divinity, which designs educational services, develops intellectual resources, offers grants and facilitates networks of Christian institutions. Leadership Education’s mission is to create lasting change by strengthening the ecology of Christian institutions that enable U.S. congregations and pastors to flourish. Our audience includes leaders in denominations, seminaries, church-related colleges, large membership congregations and Christian non-profit organizations.
The Faith & Leadership team creates and posts six pieces of editorial content every two weeks, including feature articles, interviews, essays and sermons. This content is shared via a biweekly email newsletter, as well as on Facebook and Twitter.
The intern will have the opportunity to write, to edit and to conduct interviews, and will participate in all aspects of our editorial process, from developing ideas to final publication.
This position is offered through the Duke-NCCU Summer Communications Internship Program.
