The successful applicant will develop the HBWatER team data portal (hbwater.org), and the MacroSheds data processing system (https://github.com/MacroSHEDS/data_processing ). Specific tasks include maintaining existing infrastructure (bugfixes, identifying and connecting raw datasets to processing pipelines), and development of new features as they are requested by principal investigators and collaborators. The successful applicant will work at 30 hrs/wk until May 19, 2024, and then 10 hrs/wk until July 28, and is expected to become relatively independent after developing a few features with assistance. They will become proficient at a set of skills relevant to environmental data scientists: Shiny development and debugging, environmental data management, advanced data visualization, database interaction, and UX design.
